The 21st Century Extrinsic or Distal Nihilist is an Existentialist?

Extrinsic [exotic, foreign, alien, actual ... as in Unknown] or Distal Nihilist:  All Human values are acquired, learned, derived ... and reveal the human condition. There are no Real Human Values (RHV) other than those parentally/socially imposed on children and perpetuated by proximal adults.  Actual Human Values (AHV) genetically exist.  AHV exist as part of evolution inheritance; Hence, we observe "Value" behaviors in other primates, mammals, and fish ... birds.  Ascription of human values to gods and fear of divinity, dogma ... fantasy retribution abandons reason and freewill; Thereby, enslaving the person to the contrived a/o conniving vaunted values of hubris persons. 

The Distal Nihilist understands unknown fears are irrational and natural.  Naturally (even for humans) unknowns will provoke curiosity, then the seeking to know the unknown.  These natural behaviors have been observed in puppies, kittens, infant primates ... and are essential to evolution.  Yes, babies are not practical they will try to hug a lion or pet an alligator; Therfor, elders (parents, siblings ...) provide practical lessons and inducements that mitigate the risk, which natural curiosity causes.  These practical lessons starts a lifecycle of unquestioning loyalty to family/community authority and an understanding of repercussions.  Guilt as the genetic component (as are most emotions) promotes greater conformity to social strictures.  Repercussions cause suppression (Fear) or repression (Reason) towards curiosity (an emotion).  Fear has real optional responses, then panic, faint, or run. Fear lacks actual Reason skills required within novel/anomalous environments.

Distal Nihilist are existentialist that dismiss the contrived and commonly accepted RHV as easy explanations that patronize persons of faith/myth communities. 

Why do I differentiate with the words "Real" and "Actual" in my discussion (with myself) about "Human Values," because my observations frequently explained value behavior discrepancies (by self and others) with a few sayings/quotes?

1.  Reality is self-induced hallucination.

2.  Reality ain't actuality.
3.  Reality is a personal affliction.
4.  Dogma affected persons cannot reason effective.

Governance of a functional economy

Governance is not "Government Intervention."  Governance of a functional economy, when done honestly by the markets (industry, banks, commerce, persons ...), not gamed for profits/greed, will not require "Government Intervention" to govern the economy.  

 

A healthy meritocracy economy, in a Democracy, provides a standard bell-shape-curve distribution of wealth, benefits, and quality of life (health, education, community [indigent...affluent] ...) inclusive fairness.  Markets' stewards (C*Os, BoTs, and groups/families) fail at ethical private-sector governance when income disparities exist, as indicated by a skewed wealth-curve of income, property, community....  When markets' stewards fail at economic governance, the results are depressions, recessions, resource diaspora....  When economic failures occur, "We The People" as a Government and community must ethically act and economically intervene for the welfare of the Nation.  For US (the public-sector) this is Governance, for the private-sector this is Government intervention/interference.

Economic failure upon failures is not an issue of negatives cancelling.  All failures are debt additive, until good (Private/Public) governance can liquidate the debt.  Present private-sector pseudo-capitalism relies on Government bailouts and protectionist laws (AKA: Corporate-Welfare Laws) that prevent private-sector corrections of functional economic incompetence.  Good public-sector Governance emplaces laws that control the private-sector participation in antitrust, monopolies, fraud, bribery... activities, which cause a dysfunctional economy with contemptible private-sector debt being shifted to the public sector. 

Government economic involvement/intervention is always caused by private-sector economic failures.  When a Government is the cause of economic failure, the private-sector will move to another country; Hence, The "National Security" interest in preventing private-sector manipulation of national politics and elections is essential to good governance and stable economy.  There is not much difference between private-sector fervor and religious faith, the irrational faith/fervor dogma is circular, and participation will debase Democratic Governments.  Beware all special fervor/faith interest with resolutions and truths, because they will not have verifiable/reproducible facts and solutions.

A nation's economic model must promote socio-economic balance or risk collapse.  An unbalanced cost of living burden on labor-hands [AKA: wage-slaves] offers XYZ... benefits, under faux-capitalism.  Market advocates will unethical and amoral cheer their good fortune without concern for National Interest or the public-sector impact and resultant debt.  Wealth disparity (US, EU, global ...) is an economic functional deficiency problem.  National resources/wealth removed from circulation in an economy assures some form of capital collapse within market sectors (S&L, Tech, Housing ...).  Governance is the method required to pump money into the failed economy with hope for economic stabilization that will eventually kick-start the functionally deficient economic model.

The USA Republic initially was a timocracy-isocracy democracy mix, with a monetized agrarian-barter economy.  The USA Republic presently has a more plutocracy-timocracy democracy mix, with a flour-paper mashie economy.  The USA Republic must mature into an isocracy democracy and a capitalist meritocracy economy with the Nations' wealth circulating.  IOW: All the wealth belongs to US.  If you want to move to another country; then PLEASE, pack your bags and go.  FACT: "We The People" do not need greedy wimps whining about their economic value to US.

 
Laissez-Faire, Laissez Rôle Dés a/o Bonne Chance, are irrational and dysfunctional economic models that dishonestly removes resources from economic circulation into a few private hands.  Capitalism must be meritocracy, not aggregation, based.  Capital/resources hording has no merit in any economy, unless some folks are seeking civil unrest without consideration of historical events.

A new economics model must study and address the historical, present, and persistent economic problems.  A new model needs to emerge from present model failures/weaknesses, and have an objective economics system clearly defined providing the legacy to objective system lifecycle roadmap.  The lifecycle roadmap would be to assure that there is not another "sit on your laurels" model, because the objective system must always progressively mature and address socio-economic and human-cultural developments. 

IMO, a progressive economics model provides a commons for a society to reasonably distribute community (global...local) resources and wealth/value [1st] Welfare that universally delivers stability (food, housing, health, learning), [2nd] Enfranchisement that provides participatory meritocracy (justice, governance, occupation, options/opportunity), [3rd] Assurance that economics is building an egalitarian society (global...local).   

PseudoMarxist, FauxCapitalist, Classical/NeoClassical and other totalitarian oligarch economics (aristocracy, plutocracy, noocracy, epistocracy ...) are reliably consistent failures that lead to slavery, exploitation, corruption ....   

Future economics models require strong public participation, commitment, and governance.  Because, there will always be a few greed-sick micromaniacal plutocrats trying to by gods of wealth.

Information (Data/Content) products are the cargo transported on the Infrastructure Technology (IT) [AKA: Telecommunications Infrastructure]. Processes that produce information products [Data/Content/…] use information as a raw material. Data products are for machines, automation, simulations … science, engineering, industrial … consumption. Content products stories, reports, movies, music … are for human consumption (learning, entertainment …). Data and Content are information products created for and applied to needs/requirements. Are there other basic information products, IDNK? Information obtained by human or electronic sensors are raw until processed (collect, aggregate, analyze …) by automation or human core functions. So, IMO, there is no information symbiosis/processes. Technology symbiosis like industrial processes require information to be functional for performing requirements; Hence, data or content are basic information products transported as cargo on IT (as defined above).

UX/HF/MaMa… are data-derivative processes needed for designing digital/computer and personal interactivity. UserX (a person) is not the UX/HF/MaMa… or information. UserX intransigence (I think) is not due to information, processes, or technology. UserX intransigence (I suspect) is due to frustration with no durable or substantial improvement in work experience a/o environment. The UX/HF/MaMa… provides a product designed (environment, system, hardware, software …) experience, which is not a SME/Work environment experience. During my +30y work experience the environment has always been a Megalithic Human Inference Engine (MHIE) that morphs I/O by apparent caprice inducing errors, which requires a redo-recheck-loop. IMO: UserX intransigence is due to relearning the same SME/work experience for new IT products that result in the same SME/work environment and experience. Science Academia and industry Technology at present levels of capabilities can do far more than industry-only has provided to US.
Collapse of the MHIE technology will not be a crash, IT as defined today (IMO) can cause a catastrophic failure for US (not just a system crash). Our focus on IT as defined today for security (information assurance) has been IMO a failure, because (IMO) the focus should be on “Information Governance” for security of the information.

ISO, W3C, OASIS, IEEE …, Open…Agile concepts … standards/protocols/specifications compliance does solve information interoperability and infrastructure integration requirements. Lack of forced compliance across hardware, software, services, and industry providers causes ISE … extensible lifecycle sustainment and innovation havoc for US (IMO).

Industry (the creators) frequently provides what is required with hooks, warts, and nightmares for the sustainment lifecycle follow-ons. We get what we pay for, which IMO is always less than we need for an innovative strategic lifecycle.

IAPs charge monthly/yearly internet data-rate fees, which can increase on a whim. ISPs and UserX pay their agreed upon data-rate utility fees for homes and businesses. When ISP or UserX want a higher data-rate (more upload/download bandwidth) they will pay higher fees. The IAPs (IMO) just want to run another swindle on US. The transition process from the present labor-intensive production and feudal economy variants [AKA: Capitalism, Communism …] will be frequently disruptive (change), but not necessarily destructive (war). Humans are very adaptable to change (adjust/comply), but intransigent when threatened (flight/fight). Aristotle and Gutenberg, with shared reason, helped us adjust and comply with actualities in human history. I sometimes think we are taught from a very young age that blood-lust is the only way to fame and fortune (Why?).

Okay, having stated (above) the looming reality. How do we (globally) transition from the present-threat to the post-scarcity culture and economy? Very carefully with meticulous planning, that requires species-preservation altruistic governance by pluralist-democracy [not republic-democracy]. If we had time, I would say colonize the Moon and Mars before forming a pluralist-democracy, but some research suggest that we may be very short on time, due to climate and natural resources (water, iron …).

What's the difference between gun-nuts and US?

A gun owner is not a gun-nut.  A member of the NRA is not a militia member.  I am a gun owner and a USMC (69...71) veteran, but I ain’t a member of the NRA.  I do go to shooting clubs/ranges, and I have been deer and dove hunting.

Gun-nut militia members do have agendas, rights, and rhetoric, but no reason; Hence, "Gun-nut" is a correct description, though politically and psychologically incorrect, of people that sometimes belong to a militant militia within the USA.  I consider all gun-nuts and militia members a threat to US in public and private places (like banks, work, restaurants, schools, movies ... hunting, traveling ...).  

Gun owners (like me) and NRA members should patriotically (like veterans) be interested in preventing gun-nut ownership of weapons, and fully support the disbandment and prosecution of militant militia members/groups that have documented or recorded militant agenda and rhetoric seeking the violent overthrow of The USA Government. 

As long as our VOTE and RIGHTS (gun ownership) are secure and protected, militant militias are not acceptable to US.  I know the facts; too many dead innocents and victims, there are many (a majority) gun owners everywhere in the USA.  I choose, because of (mainly recent) US history, to oppose the NRA their members that use dead innocents and victims as justification for arming gun-nuts and militias, and as excuses for supporting radical gun-nut/militant rhetoric and fear mongering.

I once heard a Jesuit and Rabbi (agree on) say there are two commandments one was about gods and the other was about some golden rule covering the other nine.

I can say (I think, the Jesuit and Rabbi would agree) all RIGHTS in The Constitution of The United States are covered by The RIGHT to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

NRA Gun-nuts' militia rights agenda harms US.

I never advocate waiting for first responders, do something appropriate, saving lives is good; playing gun-nut hero is bad!  Gun-nut attacks on “prepared and unsuspecting” first responders, children, and citizens is the carnage wreaked upon armed and unarmed people in the USA.  NRA gun-nuts’ militia rights are a dogmatic red-herring by plutocrats, fools, politicians ... to distract US from our duties as citizens, which are protect People and Rights (not just gun-nut interpreted rights). NRA gun-nuts are  plutocrats' fools and politicians ... distracting US from our duties as citizens to build a better US with education, healthcare, infrastructure, innovation, jobs ....

Disarming/restricting gun-nut owners/militias, of our right, to carry weapons is responsible protection of US who are responsable gun owners.  Sadly, NRA gun-nuts don't like the majority of US insisting on responsible behavior in the exercise of USA Citizen Rights.

The discussion about gun carry in/out of town is not squelched. You have many places to voice the gun-nut theory of all USA Civil Rights; So, go and preach in your own house, or the NRA Gun-nuts Militia convention where weapons are not allowed, the NRA does not allow Gun-nuts’ rights in their country/convention.

Gun-nuts' militias and the NRA are disgustingly supporting gun-nuts’ rights that kill and infringe on first responders', children's, and citizens' legitimate USA Constitutional Civil Rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 

I would not discuss this topic with any gun-nut anyplace, it would be like discussing science with a creationist, a waste of both our time. Yep, it might get me shot by a gun-nut.

Gun-nuts’ agenda, rights, and rhetoric make US the casualties, while those of us who are willing to do something good are insulted by gun-nuts’ reasoning for killing first responders, children, and citizens. 

As a person who has served in the USMC (69...71) deployed as a DoD civilian (DS/DS 91), and spent years overseas, I will not threaten others by supporting NRA gun-nuts’ rights, laws, agenda in the USA.  I have taken action to protect other, from death and physical harm, in foreign countries and the USA. 

Taking chances by saving folks should be our commitment to US.  The NRA gun-nuts’ rights campaign is killing US.  Unfortunately, those of you who follow the plutocratic NRA guy-nuts’ rights propaganda do "whine" attempting to deny US  our USA Constitutional Civil Rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

     Disruptive Manufacturing:  Customized, Curio, and Massive “Cottage Industry” potential does prove we can Change, we can Make, we can be Better, more Open and extremely Agile (maybe forget Foreign Imports and Military Sales).  If there is a global “AAA” Threat of Atypical (no prior example), Asymmetric (uneven impact), Asynchronous (not when, where, what dependent) manufacturing industry, then either a boon-boom or threat-boom exist to US, EU, RU, CN, IN ... IMO.
     Disruptive Leveraging of Distributed Manufacturing:  Distributed/Local production a/o manufacturing is a decentralized Enterprises of Interest (EoI) model that can use a network of geographically dispersed manufacturing facilities (homes, schools, hospitals ...) that are coordinated using telecommunications (Cell, WWWeb ...) for just-in-time production and logistics (There are WWII Vietnam ... examples).
     When the AAA threat cannot be mitigated (as in WWII, Vietnam ...) then you (US, EU ...) must lead the future of “Disruptive Manufacturing” AAA Boon-Boom.  The “AAA” Threat (IMO) cannot be addressed by present national/international governments/laws, military, economic, social structures ...; Hence, national/international ... structures, institutions, strategy, tactics ... change will happen (I hope) by and for US.  NOTE:  I could be wrong and this is all a SciFic-101 book/lesson/movie concept.

Asymmetric warfare is the least of our worries. What about asymmetric industry, logistics, fielding, training in a theater of operations?
