Children are smarter than adults?  Yes
Why are children smarter than adults?  Children think in irrational possibilities.Don't adults think in possibilities?  No, rational adults think in probabilities.

I
can accept your foundation as acceptably accurate, but the derivatives from these fundamentals are not possible.  Well to say something is impossible is as irrational as saying something is possible without factual evidence.

Okay then; Those derivations from your MuseSpew ain't dang likely, because adults are smarter than children.  No, Children are smarter.  Adults are simply better at predicting outcomes that are based on learning and experience.  Well...; Adults frequently do childishly express "without much knowledge or experience" possibilities they tag as predictions.  And child-like adults, unable to determine right and wrong of results, provide farcical proofs of outcomes and believable myth.

So, you're stating that children are smarter than adults, and that adults are no better than irrational children?

Yes, adults are defined by their culture and age.  Adults are not defined by knowledge, skills/abilities, experience, merit, performance ....  So, likeable children are frequently likable adults, sad playground bullies ... creative happy children become adults.  The two or more decades of transition to a rational adult depend on their acquisition of knowledge and experience for rationality.  Children develop rationality by experiential explicit (results repeat) a/o vicarious implicit (school, home ...) lessons.

Now you're saying, decades of growing up and going to school may result in irrational and stupid adults? Well Yes; Children always accept or reject observed a/o learned results as they grow. Curiosity is a recognitions of reasoning conflict (problem) that must be resolved, curiosity causes mental and emotional discomfort.  Solutions with consistent repeatable results are like opiates (pain killers) to the brains of curious children and are highly addictive.  The easy dogmatic / irrational (cultural, political, religious ...) believable solutions are as decidedly addictive as the far more complex rational (science, engineering, logic ...) solutions, which require rigorous consistent reproducible results.

So you think, curiosity is essential to rationality?  No, I think, curiosity addiction is the root cause of adults predicting results.  Rationality is indicated by an adult whose predictions a/o solutions are consistent and reliable, obviously.  Politicians, clerics, children are irrational.  Allowances are made for children being irrational, but with politicians, clerics ... adults' dogma providing nice believable explanations, the frighteningly unpredictable results that can devastate, maybe destroy, civilizations.  Obviously allowances made for children are because the impact is typically an insignificant lesson, but irrational adults are a lethal threat and danger to every living thing.

Dang, now you're saying adults are stupid, irrational, and a threat to humanity, their nation and civilization.  Well ...; Obviously Yes, stupid and irrational adults are a significant and probably lethal threat, but our culture and their age frequently define these adults as sane and upstanding members of society (not a threat).  We even frock them with leadership or ask their advice, when obviously we should consider them as mentally and emotionally handicapped and mitigate, medicate, a/o control their risky/threat nature.

Okay, We have gotten sidetracked by crazy adults.  The topic is "Human Intelligence" and the original question was "Children are smarter than adults?"

Should I continue this δmuse ...?
